Collecting Royal Albert Teacups

Written by on February 6, 2012 in Teapot and Teacup Collecting with 0 Comments

Royal Albert teacups are considered one of their most favorite brand by many collectors. Romantic and floral is the best way to describe these tea cups. And they are my favorites as well.

The Royal Albert line is part of the Waterford, Wedgwood and Royal Dulton Group, a company known for it’s quality china, tableware and giftware. Royal Albert has its roots in Longton, England where Thomas Wilde first established a pottery business in 1896.

The teacups and saucers of the Royal Albert line reflect a time of gracious living and relaxed worlds. When I hold one of my teacups, I feel transported out of my crazy hectic world. There is just that much delight in these cups.

Royal Albert teacups are available in many patterns with many matching teapots, sugar bowls and creamers. You can complete your tea service in a favorite single pattern, or enjoy a collection of complimentary pieces. The Royal Albert line also includes specialty commemorative teacups and sauces, like their 100 year anniversary collection.

As a collector of romantic or floral tea cups, you can rest assured that the Royal Albert line will be a great addition for you. At Whimsical Teapots and Teacups, we certainly enjoy sharing the enjoyment of collecting our favorites, like Royal Albert.
