Springtime Tea Pots and Tea Parties

Springtime Tea PartyWith the arrival of Spring, we can turn our attention to more joyous times. Like flowers blooming everywhere. So how about some flowers blooming on your teapot? Floral teapots make a great addition to your Springtime enjoyment.

To welcome Spring every year, we always like to have a tea party. It’s a fun excuse to just say, welcome. We pick an afternoon when we can all share together. Decide what kinds of food we will all bring and order some special tea samplers. Then we get out our floral teapots and teacups and have a great time sharing in the bounty that Spring provides.

For us, any excuse to have a tea party works. Plus, we get the fun of decorating our buffet table with all the foods laid out. Fresh flowers are available in Spring, but we like to make use of the silk variety around the food. We found a great article explaining why silk flowers and greenery is better for the food table. Greenery and Flowers on a Buffet Table is written by a professional events coordinator. She explains her reasoning behind using mostly silk or artificial plant material to decorate. It makes great sense and will help everyone have a safer tea party.

Here are some of my favorite Springtime tea pots. The floral patterns are charming and add a touch of elegance to your Springtime Tea Party. If you are planning a Welcome Spring tea party, please feel free to let me know about it. We always enjoy hearing about the ideas our readers have.

What gorgeous spring teapots! Any one of them would be perfect for a tea party this spring. Thanks for the shout out about the silk greenery and flowers. Gotta be careful around food at those tea parties.

  2. I have a personal collection of teapots and many of them are floral teapots. I guess those of us who love flowers and who also love teapots, the two just naturally go together.
